After hearing all the hype and seeing that it was one of the most-watched series in the world, I finally found the time to watch Squid Game. I have to admit that I had a lot of fun watching it and was very entertained throughout the season. It’s about hundreds of contestants (all of whom are broke and in need of money) who are asked to play children’s games to win a large sum of money, 45.6 billion won (approximately $33 million). The only problem is that these children’s games are now all deadly and the last contestant wins all the money. It draws you into its world and you’ll be hooked before you know it. It’s a thriller with lots of twists and turns and lots of violence. It’s a show that will stay with you long after you’ve watched it. I know it’s already been renewed for a second season, so I hope they can keep the same magic that it had in the first season. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
